Cereal for breakfast is my only treat of the day. Just wondering what low sugar cereal's taste good so I don't have to buy them all to try them? Thanks.

Watch out for misleading marketing. Made from whole wheat and containing whole grain are two different things. I get organic cereal like Kashi brand cereal. All the ingredients are easily pronounced lol.

You've got a few choices...
Fiber one contains aspartame. All-Bran, All-Bran w/extra fiber. Then you've got the dry "everything-free" cereals they sell in blue labelled plastic baggies. Stuff like puffed rice, corn, wheat, kamut, etc.. They are like 50 - 60 cals a cup. There are a few bran-like cereals with low sugar out there too, just check the labels. Visit a GNC or organic health food store. They WILL have it.

The protein is all soy. There are better cereals out there if he's looking for quality. However, regarding sugar quantity - kashi doesn't fit. Fiberone easily beats the fiber, and if you visit a healthfood site (there are plenty on the net) then you can easily attain a good quality cereal with the same amount of sugar or less. Sugar is sugar, whether from raisins or brown rice syrup.

Just read labels, even old 300lb ladie's got that one down. If it has sugar anywhere in the list put it back. Generally the shorter the ingredient list the better. Kashi is just ok. Its the same as every other crap cereal just with "natural sugars" instead of processed ones. Not really much difference in my eyes. Also a lot of the protein comes from soy, which I dont like either.
Of couse that was last year. Im going without milk this year so cereal is out.

I eat kellogs corn flakes with 2 scoops of protein powder to sweeten it up.The kellogs with strawberries in it is awesome with strawberry protein powder in it.
