HCG. IM or SubQ?

Does it matter where you inject HCG? Ive been reading that IM injections, will cause rapid peak, then return to baseline in a few hours. Whereas subq injections are released slower. Is this correct?

I am a big fan of HCG and will never cycle without it. I have never used any method other than Sub-Q, I see no need to go IM any more than you have to.

Can you use a little slin pin for HCG? ALso, how much do you need total for a pct run? Just used clomid and nolva until now, but using HCG this time after my cycle. Obviously my search doesnt find me much as a non-plat so any help appreciated. thanks

HCG is NOT GOOD for pct as it will shut you down also. It is intended for using mid cycle and at end of cycle. If you are using long esters in your cycle, you can start HCG after last injection where clomid etc would not be used until about 3 weeks later (example, dont know what your cycle is) If you used HCG thruought your pct, you will never get back to producing test naturally which is the point of pct.

Yes, it is not needed after the first week or so into your PCT.

However, to say its not intended for PCT, well, it isn't really intended for steroid users at all. I don't actually know of any ancillary that is, now that I think of it.

HCG, as I'm sure you know, is used to treat hypogonadism in males and fertility issues in males and females. However, I wouldn't compare it to using exogenious testosterone, in reference to "shutdown".

One more thing, I have a slight feeling that I'm putting my foot in my mouth here, but I'm posting it anyways, to foster some friendly debate. Being that Nelson isn't around anymore, someone's gotta do it :artist:

Oh yeah...thread topic...Sometimes I do IM, sometimes I do SC, either way I hold the slin pin in my hand for about 30 secs, so that its isn't as cold going in, makes it painless. :)

so say if somebody wasnt "satisfied" with their pct from a previous cycle and still felt shut down, would there be any point to HCG the first week or two if they just decided to try another PCT run? Just trying to figure out exactly how/when/what it works for. any insights appreciated, thanks

I would get my blood work done ... to see exacly where im at and if test levels are still low than try another pct run with HCG.
