HCG during or after

I am a 53 year old male 185 lbs. almost two weeks into my 1st cycle of test enan 250mg x 10 weeks and I have been reading posts about PCT. I see what looks like to me to be a divided opinion on when to use HCG. I am wondering if I even need HCG with a simple 1st cycle as mine or should I use them both? Some say all you should need is Nolva started 2 weeks after and some seem to think HCG should be used 1st after the cycle (1000iu 3x week for 3 weeks) and then cut in with the Nolva after. After reading more it seems some others think that HCG should be used during the cycle ( is it twice a week 250iu or 250iu every 2 weeks? ) and that only Nolva should be used after the cycle. Can anyone clarify this for me so that I can start the HCG if I need to do it during my cycle.

( I had planned on the HCG right after 1000 iu 3x weeek for 3 weeks and then cut in with the Nolva for the alotted time - is this still my best way to go?)

You're probably gonna hear conflicting reports. I've been after the same answers bro. I'm almost done with my first cycle, so it looks like I'll be taking it afterward this time. When I first checked into roids, I was gonna get it through prescription from a pharmacy, and the doc wanted me to take HCG during my cycle if that tells you anything. I decided not to go through the pharmacy cause it was too expensive.

For that low a test dose, 500IU of HCG 3 times a week for 3 weeks would be fine in my opinion. What test are you taking? For longer-acting esters, you might wanna wait around 2 weeks to start PCT. Shorting acting-esters, you might just wanna wait a week or so.

Unless your raisins are shrinking, I wouldn't inject any during your cycle. 250mg of test shouldn't cause much, if any, shrinking. If you really want to, I suppose you could do 500IU once a week a couple of weeks before ending your cycle on.

Ya definitely read the post. With my cycle, the post convinced me that I should do it after, but some still say during, even with my small doses.

What if I did 250iu every 2 weeks during the cycle and then the allotted 1000iu 3x week for 3 weeks and then 3 weeks of Nolva afterwards. This sounds like a safe bet to me. Can anyone tell me if there is any reason this would be inadvisable??

In my opinion, you don't need HCG during a 10 week cycle. However, it won't hurt you if you do decide to use it.

However, with test enanthate you need to wait 2 weeks after the last injection to start clomid/nolvadex therapy. This is a perfect time to use HCG (1,000IU EOD) since it will not only return your testes to full function, but also keep your testosterone level high when it normally would be dropping rapidly (as the test enanthate works out of your body).

This is my rule of thumb; for cycles 8-11 weeks use HCG at the end. For cycles 12 weeks or longer use HCG every 6 weeks and at the end.

That'd be fine. I'd actually just do a little HCG mid cycle, maybe 500iu 3x/wk if your marbles are really bugging you

Sorry bro...it the paperwork doesn't show a dosage schedule. It just has the prices of what the doc recommended I take.

Thanx Krishna and nvdj66. I think I will go 250 iu twice a week for two weeks midcycle then 1000iu 3x a week at the end for 3 weeks before starting my Nolvadex for another 3. To me this sounds not only safe but effective. It just so happens I have exactly 10000iu to work with so this will be totally copecetic with my quantity as well. Thanx again for the comments my friends.

And Azul my friend I am sorry I did not get back to you when you asked what type test I was taking - I don't know how it slipped my mind to answer you - I am taking QV test enan 250 mg per wk.

The point of taking HCG during the cycle is to PREVENT atrophy. So don't wait till you see it to take it. If you are waiting till after your cycle to take the hcg you are going to prolong your recovery more than if you took it during your cycle.
