Have you found a really good Epson ink substitute???

For the black T007 and color T008? Used on 780,785, 825, 870,875,890.

The color cartridges don't last at all!!! My generic brand substitute is not acceptable for photo quality printing.

I got a refill kit and it actually works pretty well. You're right about the generics though... they suck. My advice: dont get an epson.

I have 2 Lexmark printers. I like them. They're cheap and print pretty quick at high quality for injets. And I use the refill kits because I do a lot of printing and the prices for ink cartridges are ridiculas for the amount of ink you get with them.

Refill kits are the way to go if you want to save money.

My color cartridge holds 5 colors making refills somewhat more eventful...and dicey.

Well that sucks. Get a lexmark. Trust me. They are like $50 at walmart. You'll be able to use refill fill kits and save money in the long run. Plus it comes with ink so you're ready to go for $50 right off the bat.

Well my Epson does true photgraphic quality prints with Epson ink. Being a photographer, that is important. I plan to get the HP 1700 soon enough if business picks up. It does 17" wide prints with stunning quality.
