Has anyone ever tried this?

Has anyone ever used one of these for at home? I am thinking about supplementing my home gym with one of these. Its made by Hoist and come with an adjustible bench (incline, decline, etc.) and attachments for preacher curls, leg extensions and leg curls.

If you have, I would appreciate the input on it before I drop $2500.00 on one.

This IS anabolic board relevant, because I plan to use it while on cycle :p

it is free weight and smith machine, my father has one in his house he never uses.. it's Hoist, exactly like that picture

IMO it's hard to do the leg training on it, but everything else is excellent.. it's a really smooth machine.

Yeah, it's kinda hard to get a feel for it without seeing it.

I know, thats why I was hoping maybe someone had one. It has capability for both freeweights and a smith machine.

I don't like the smith machine much, i think it does more harm than good to your back if you do squats especially.

I don`t have that but I`ve had two smith machines and a lot of home equipment. You really need a power rack. You can do everything in a PR the smith is not as good IMO. I don`t even use mine anymore. I hang my straps for leg raises on the smith bar now.

With that amount of money I would get seperate units. My gallery has my basement gym.

I think its a great idea.

That is a nice gym gonelifting, but my problem is also one of space. Unfortunately, I do not have a basement to devote to it, so that why I am hoping to get a lot of benefit out of one piece of equipement which will leave me room for dumbbell racks and a place for deads, lunges, etc. I am also going to see about getting a bar for chins.

I have 2 that are similar to that minus the smith. The first one looks almost identical to that one. I used to use it for everthing but got to squating more than I felt comfortable without a rack. The second one iI similar but has a full rack and a peck deck. I got both of mine at Sams Club for about $500 each. They take up half my garage but btween the two, I can do 95% of the excersizes I did at the gym. Nothing beats working out at home.
