Has anyone actually read "The Bodybuilding Truth"?

Has anyone read the book that George is touting? The Bodybuilding Truth.

Does it actually contain good information or is it the same old stuff rewrapped?

I liked it to some extent, and then I was quite a bit disappointed as well..you would do better to just do a search on all of Montana's posts and then just start reading..you get the point/counterpoint this way as well

I read it and would like to convert my current workout to his proposed one. But on a different thread, he seemed to advise against it because of my health (probally didn't think I could handle it). I still want to go on it and will report on this board when I do. Thanks!

I read it and was a little disappointed, but I think that it is a good book for the inexperienced to read , it could help you avoid many mistakes that many of us old timers have already made. Like a couple other posts said it contains a good workout section. It also reinforced much of what I already had concluded by trail and error.

One point that I like about Montana is that he does not advocate large amounts of anabolics, this is reflected in his writings. He helps you to see the whole picture, training and diet are highlighted. He also has a very good working knowledge of otc supplements.:)

what do you guys think the best book for anabolics is?

Probably Anabolics 2002, although Nelson would disagree.

I read it and think it was a worthwhile read. Much of the book isn't anything new if you're already pretty smart about your training, but he does have some good insights in there that you won't learn by just reading his posts. I've borrowed some of his routines and had great success with them.

And BTW, the ab routine is the best thing for abs I have EVER done. I do it just 3 times a week, takes me less than 5 minutes and I've never had such good ab development ever before. I've had lower bodyfat before and my abs never looked as good as they do now.

i hear you on that one!! great ab routine

I also give kudos to the ab routine. I think that anabolics 2000 is the best book so far printed on anabolics.:)
