One year ago I met someone very special to me. She walked in a door, said hello, and I my heart stopped. I am not for sure if it ever returned.
I will never forget that night on the phone at 5 am, you had a dentist appointment the next morning. I will never forget that time that you called when I was training and I stopped to talk to you (before we met). I will never forget pulling the jar of "moonshine" out of the freezer for a "funny" Christmas present. The rain fell and so did out internal guards. Our hearts opend as well as our minds.

Flipping tires, picking up rocks, pulling cars, farmers walks. A hug here, a kiss there, a smile now and then. An "I miss you so much" with a tear.
I can tell so many stories, I have most of them written down. A lot of them involve laughing, smiling, going somewhere, and always having fun. Some of the greatest moments were just the feeling of when I woke up and saw your face next to mine. Your eyes, your hair, your smell, your touch. Taking that step out of bed and wondering what today would bring us. Those most precious moments that I remember hold a single look, a turn of your head, something small, maybe only what you said.
Not much has turned out like we planned. Even less turned out like I hoped.
One single year has brought someone special into my life. I only know when but I don't know why.
I hope and I pray that in one more year, from today, I can once again say "Happy Anniversary Belle". In my heart you will stay.
