Sounds like a broken pos if that's the case lol, thanks for the notice. They only released a demo for the 360 (probably a Microsoft dealio). The game's apparently the most technically impressive thing on console according to the developer but what's the point if it plays like dur dur.

I'm waiting for the demo of this game-



Controls have been tweaked for speed to be more of a mix between CoD and BF:BC2, so it's not as "heavy" as KZ2.

No, the game isn't technically impressive at all. Blacklight: Tango Down's graphics look almost just as good. Tons of anti-aliasing issues, shitty textures, you name it.

Gameplay wise, yeah, the game sucks cock. There's no reason in using your gun, ever. You spawn, hit cloak, go find a man, melee him in the back for an insta kill, then go camp in a corner for 5 seconds and wait until your cloak regenerates. Rinse and repeat.

Fucking awful. Blacklight: Tango Down is better than this game, and Blacklight sucks shit.

That's interesting to hear. We'll see if the reviews reflect this opinion. Crytek has been boasting about this game pretty heavily saying it "maxes out the consoles" so we'll see. It sounds like it could be a flop and they'll be eating their words.

I didn't even touch on the graphics..not a graphics whore myself..but for a game to be so highly praised it has a fuck ton of graphical glitches.

Something feels wrong with the game play too...the targeting and hit detection seems off and unbalanced.

If you're being 100% accurate here I can't wait to see/read some reviews. Something tells me Crytek could be getting a big slice of humble pie in March. I've never heard of a developer bragging and boasting as much as they have this past year.

I was actually pretty shocked at how lame the demo was...apparently it was bad enough that they are supposed to either seriously patch the demo or just pull it and re release it later.

I was looking forward to this game too.

The bullet storm demo is pretty fun..short but fun.

I just read that Crytek UK (formerly Free Radical) was in charge of the multiplayer. Lets see what game they've made recently...

Hmmm I think that explains quite a bit lol. Hopefully they'll fix it.


And yeah the Bulletstorm demo was pretty fun, played through it a couple times. You'd have to hope the combo system has enough depth to it to avoid getting old though since that's the only thing the game has going for it lol. Although the ragdoll physics are some of the best I've seen as well.
