The force was with me today.

Played a little tournament with 23 other guys. They gave me an 8 handicap. Haven't played in two weeks (I was injured but now healed).

Shot 38-36. Had 2 birdies, 2 bogies, 1 double bogie(#9 par 5 ) for a 74. Net score was a 66. Won $200 for placing 2nd. Some guy shot a net 65 damnit!

It seems the less I play, the better I hit and score.

Golf ain't so hard.

Yea, #9 is an easy birdie hole but I tried to cut the corner and actually had a pretty easy approach shot except for a damn tree in my line.

I thought I would get cute with it and go under it but there was a trap by the green and the sand was awful fluffy and the ball just died in there. It got pretty shitty from there plus the greens were just aeriated but haven't been sanded yet. Like putting on gravel.

#9 always seems to do me in.

It was strange about the greens. They were aeriated but the ball was sticking like glue. I had a lot of makeable birdie puts that never had a chance.

I was in a zone so to speak. It seemed everything I hit was coming up roses. Probably won't have another round like that for awhile.

I probably won't get a chance to play again until late July. I have vacation coming up (Going Tarpon fishing ) week of June 24 - July 3. Then might take another one a couple of weeks after the 4th. Then other stuff going on....wife is going to Nashville during the week of July 11th for a week with the school system.

Fort Meyers/Sanibel. Probably fish inland in the canals like we did last year.
