Some dude posted up on a gaming board of it plastered across the front page of his local news paper. MS viral marketing for ya, and it appears to be working. It already had a million preorders. I prefer a lukewarm hype to games, since then if it is good it seems that much more impressive.

1. This is actually a very quick release considering it's such a big title. Lots of big games take much longer after their announcement to actual release.

2. Plus it's releasing in Sept which is rare....they usually wait until winter and holidays are here.

3. Also, this game has not been delayed like the majority of games are nowadays.

4. Go play your Wii little boy.

I was surprised at the marketing of this game.

Numerous commercials including ones like Pontiac, Special Halo Pepsi and food products, Posters, etc. Heck even Futureweapons on Discovery had Special Halo sponsored shows.

That's a good sign that this game does indeed deliver.
