Half Life and Seven

Hey guys,
I'm a student in medecine and today we learned that a chemical compound is not effective in the body after 7 half-life.

The term half-life is not well understood, it means the compound is 50% lower every half life.

So if the Deca half-life is 14 days(2weeks)
7x2weeks = 14 weeks to clear the system : WTF ?

do some homework about esters, I posted a very thorough thread a couple years back about half lives.

it would depend on how much you had in your system .. if you make 1 injection the active life is gonna be shorter than if you had a series of injections simply because you would have to wait for not only the last injection of a cycle but the prior injections to tick away as well. so it will take longer.
