hairloss

is any test more well known to cause hair loss than others?

is test prop a big culprit in hair loss?

I do not have hair loss or baldness in my family on my dads side, but doing prop, i am concerned if it is any worse than the rest?

I have read on these forums that porp has the least side effects.

^^Exactly. I started losing my hair when I was 21 with no gear. The minute I started taking any, BAM, it was gone. Oh well. I shave now and people say I look younger and my wife loves shaved heads. So whatever.

My advice is keep the doses reasonable. I used to do 600 mg of test prop a week and did notice some hair loss. I dropped it down to 300 or even less and added in an equal amount of tren ace and a good anti-aromatase and I have had the most trouble free cycles you can imagine. I've had no more hairloss. I do use minoxidil (generic and only once before bed every night) and polysorbate 80 shampoo every bath. I don't know if those two are helping or what, but they are really cheap combo to use. Like I say, keep the doses in check. The minox you can find at walmart and the polysorb you can find in a vitamin place like puritanspride.com or something like that. Good luck!

p.s. There are all kinds of other opinions on this matter, best to keep researching.

Test is test is test.....if you are prone to alopecia (male pattern baldness)...all will convert to DHT and aggravate hair loss

Just like estrogen blockers, dutasteride and finasteride (propecia) act to block DHT receptors to slow and reverse balding....once you stop using them, hairloss continues

Incorrect.......all testosterones have the same side effects

The propionate ester cleaves off more quickly, allowing propionate to enter the bloodstream quicker and levels peak within days.....that is why you have to inject ed or eod....

Cyp and enthanate take weeks to reach peak levels

The side effects of the testosterone base are exactly the same in all three

Exactly, if your prone to it then it doesn't matter what test you use....it's gonna happen.

ok, great answers, thank you. if you start getting hair loss, and you stop the cycle ASAP, and do pct after the required amount of time from last injection, will the hair loss stop, ;or will you keep losing hair anyway.
my dose is 1cc eod.

How about on your mother's side. It can come from both. The other answers are good.

The answer is that if you are prone to hairloss, and you use anabolic androgenic steroids, then you can "trigger" the hairloss process to start earlier than it would normally, because of all the extra androgens, ect.

So you run that risk when using AAS if you are prone, and the process will continue like it normally would. How much hair you will lose depends on your genetics.

This is without treatment.

Using Finesteride will help, but with some AAS Finesteride wont help.

I personally have never had a problem with enan..pro..or cyp... I only noticed...and noticed big time...with Test suspension and winny-v.... But 1mg ed of finasteride stopped it in its tracs...

i have heard Saw Palmetto is good to block the action of dihydrotestosterone in the prostate and scalp

not proven and however certainly weaker then finasteride the real deal

since were taking hairloss.
if i use propecia in my test cycles....it will as ive come to undestand save my hair from falling of. but will it begin to fall after ive ended my cycle and stopped taking the propecia?

ive planned to use propecia during my cycles and when im off using rogaine.
would it be a better option to use both during cycle?

It would depend on how prone you are.

If you are prone, then finastride (propecia) is really something you need to take indefinately. If you are doing rogaine, I'm guessing hair loss is a concern for you...in which case it may be an idea to look into long term use.

If you are taking it just to reduce the amount of DHT conversion, then you should be ok just running it throughout the course of your cycle. But remember, some forms of test stay in your system for quite awhile after your cycle....so depending on what you use, it may be a good idea to run the finastride for upto 4-6 months after your cycle!!

Finastride is only really effective against testosterone though. It won't do sh*t if you are taking meds like tren, dbol, anadrol, primo, winstrol...etc.
