Hair loss Deca

Thinking of hitting Deca

times are touch and not much stuff available here...well from people i can trust anyway

now i am on Propecia. If i hit Deca when do i stop Propecia and when can i commence again? i hear the 2 dont go well

also what can i do for hair loss as an alternative whilst on Deca?

As far as hair loss goes, Deca is one of the kindest, particularly when compared to testosterone or other androgens such as winstrol, trenbelone or anadrol. Rogaine was always helpful in retaining your hair.

Finasteride has a half-life of 6-8hrs.

I'm not sure if this is right and someone correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's 12 half lives to extinction.

So 12x8=96hrs/24=4 days

lol scratching my head here

how many days before hitting Deca shall i stop propecia? and how long after shall i re commence?

and rogaine will be good during a deca cycle?

If it is 12 half lives to extinction then 4 days should be enough.
Rogaine will help w/ regrowth, but that may not be necessary considering that deca is usually not too harsh on the hairline.

Mac, you're brilliant! Half-life is determined by clearance and volume of distribution. Basically, clearance is determined by liver and renal function and volume of distribution being body plasma volume. In clinical practice, it takes about 5 times the half-life for a drug's serum concentration to reach steady state after regular dosing is started, stopped, or the dose changed. At 5 half-lives, 97% of the drug is gone from the body. However, to measure half lives to extinction (when there actually is no detectable drug in the body) is a much more complicated formula. You can hit 8AND20 up for the math, but I am sure at 12 half-lifes, no compound exists for all practical purposes. I think you are on the money.

That's just going too far.
So 12 half lives is a little too concervative.
So to answer original posters question, if discontinuance of finasteride was 40hrs prior to deca administration, then he should be alright?
5x8=40hrs

and once again i get a very well informed response...Thank you very much guys much apreciated

am i missing something here? nandrolone decanoate - converts to dihydronandrolone (dhn) not dihydrotestosterone, so why the concern over losing one's hair?

If not converted to DHN, nandrolone in its original state is extremely hard on hair.
Finasteride will block that conversion.
That's the theory anyways.
Never hear too many actual testimonies to back that up.
