Wahl clippers are the best hands down. Spend a little and get a good one it will last you for years.

I intend to spend more and get a good one. How much would be one?

If you're willing to go to Sally's and buy the heavy good quality clippers you will have them for life if you take reasonably good care of them. I have one by Oster and it was around $130. Mine is roughly 4 or 6 years old and I just keep them oiled and it works well. I used to use it to trim up the stray hairs on my bald Sphynx cat and would just disinfect them and use them on me. They have a good weight in your hand and will last forever. Just remember to clean and oil them.

Do they have anything around $70? I wont mind buying a new one every 3-4 years...

I'm pretty sure they do. You should do a google search for Oster Clippers and I'm sure you should be able to find something in the price range that you want.
Good luck.
