Had gyno surgery yesterday

trinidad

New member
I went in yesterday morning to have gyno surgery under my right nipple. It lasted less than 30 min.s and I had a 45 min. recovery before going home. Of course I had to be there 2 hrs. early for the prepping but who's counting? In at 7 a.m. and home by 10:30 a.m. with absolutely no pain or discomfort. Changed the gauze today and it looks like the doc cut a semi-circle directly on my under nipple line so I think the scar will hardly be noticeable. Still no pain or discomfort, either. I was given "twighlight" anestegia to knock me out and then local on my chest. So glad I went! I'm one happy camper today! Just wanted to share with you guys! Guess I'll have to save the percocets for another occasion!:D

That's awesome bro! Glad to hear that it went that well for ya. Don't personally think I'll ever need it, but if so your feedback would definitely make me feel more at ease. Take care of them nips partner!

Did you get one of those "vests" things to wear for compression like some other guys on here?

How long til you can work out again?

Money for breast ENLARGEMENT, money for breast REDUCTION... docs are making money hand over fist! It's a win-win!

my brother had it done and is was about 6000 total with anest / outpatient, etc. If its only a little pre-exsisting you can take Nolvadex at 20-40mg per day for 90 days. Studies have shown positive results or DHT cream.

what type of procedure was it. ultrasonic or just removal. who did it- plastic surgeon or reg surgeon? hope all is well.

Danabolic55, it was removal and was done by a regular surgeon. All is well so far! Thanks!

gpharmguy Was this due to not taking anti-e's? Good luck!
gpharmguy, it was during a cycle of test/deca that both nips became sensitive. I had nolva on hand and began taking it. Took it the rest of the cycle and through post cycle. Sensitivity went away quickly but the gyno didn't appear until about 2 months after post, and was only under the right nip.

AAP, no vest thing and I can resume working out in about 2 weeks.

slugfast6868 Will you post a picture of your scar in about 1 m onth so we can see what to expect if the surgery is ever needed
slugfast6868, yes. I think that's a great idea.

JerseyDevil, yeah, I took 20 mgs. nolva for around 60 days but it still showed up later on.

Thanks all for the well wishes! It's been 2 days, bandages came off today and it looks great. No pain or discomfort. As far as the cost, I don't know because it was covered by my insurance but I will post it when I get my insurance statement.

keep us all update. are you in any pain?

First workout since the surgery was today, 12 days afterwards and it was chest.....no problems, no pain!! I was shocked to find out the doc didn't use stitches either, but little strips of tape! He did an awesome job. This was for those of you wondering about how long until I could workout again. Right back in the saddle, baby!

Humm, not typical...you got yourself a very good doctor.

you have to be the first I have heard of not getting stitches.

hvywghttchamp,

Did the doc remove the gland? If no, then you are still suspetable to getting gyno, so be careful.
Just a friendly word of caution.

hmm. I used .5 eod and still got gyno. In fact I just lactated the other day. Its been two days since I squeezed the shit out of my nips and the gyno is not as hard and puffy as they were.

If the surgeon removes the gland, does that mean you can't get gyno anymore? Just curious.

6000, seems like a lot. I thought average was 2-3k.

I worked out 10 days after my gyno surgery on BOTH nipples -- I had pubescent gyno, and I developed it around 6th grade -- so, I doubt AAS usage had any play into it. I also had a slash and hack surgeon that did a horrible job. Gyno surgery doesn't require that much time off after the surgery, the only thing you need to do is to make sure the cuts are healed up (in my case anyway).

hvywghttchamp,
Glad your back already. Question for you....how did you get insurance to cover the surgery?

stiches

If your gyno is ultra sonic lypoed out the Dr. will not use stiches a little derma-bond and tape. Derma bone is new on the market it is just skin super glue inlue of stiches
