Gyno???

Alright guys.I havent posted here in a while, but when I was you were all able to help me with every problem I had ever encounterd.Anyways, Over the years I found that I get gyno pretty easy. Ive done everything possible to slow and prevent this from happening, but this last year its gotten pretty bad. I have a bigger chest so its hidden pretty well. Its more noticable now that Im heavier and havent been dieting. The worst part is that it hurts on and off. So this is my question....I talked to my Dr. about it and he wanted me to go to a specialist to check for cancer. He never even asked me if I used or use and gear. So im planning to go see this guy and get it checked. So when I go see him do any of you think its possible that he will tell me I need to get it removed ???That way my insurance will cover it.Is there anything you would say to get him to believe you needed it done? Thanks in advance.....

Hey dude ya....I did that myself... both sides.... they will give you a mamagram?
that part is strange... but when they find the breast tissue they will want to remove it
in the rare case of cancer... they never asked me about steroids either.... they asked me if i smoked pot.. haha .. or drank lots of cafein...
My insurance paid.... time off work the hole deal........ but the surgen.. could give you bad scares?? if you have the money you might want to check out a cosmetic surgen???....... my left turned out really good .... but my right has noticable scarring.
...for me i did not care.. i just wanted it gone... that 1st few weeks is a fucker too.
my nipple looked like raw hamberger.. but soon healed up.... remember though they will be concerned in removing the lump no in how pretty you look when they are done..
......but yes been there done that...

Thanks man...I was wondering if I went to a cosmetic surgeon if they would be able to do the same and still get insurance to pay for it.I know with moles and stuff, if they remove them insurance pays..From what I understand the Dr. is going to insert a needle and remove cells and test them.I think the best thing to do is overexagerate the pain..Then hopefully I can be rid of it.So how long was total healing time? When could you lift again?

they told me to hold off for 3weeks... with my left as soon as the bandages were removed i was ready to back.... but my right side held a lof of fluid for a while... i decided agaist the drain...( they will want to put a tub in your chest to drain the extra fluid.. you retain.. but i was afraid i would have extra scarring... I have keloid scarring anyway ..i double scar.... but i should of went with the drain... because i held water for quite some time... was like a real boob.. but finally went away.
I had almost no pain... just kinda flelt raw... skin was a little tight..
i would go with the drain if i were you... I dident have to say anything about pain..it is not the pain..it is just the be safe.. they will want to remove it you shouldent have to say anything unless you just want to... i told them i had a lump.. he flet it took him a while to feel anything.. but after the mamagram it showed up .... went back to the doc he said ya what you have is gynacomastia.. I ,like you, already knew what it was.. i played dumb..he told me the danger and about cancer... said it is probably nothing... but to play it safe i would like to remove it... I took some blood tests... and went in a few days later for surgery.... in and out took about 30 min i think... i felt like somone would ask me about steroids..but they dident.. i kinda felt like they knew... and were thinking it ... haha but i got a few days off work... everything worked out ok..

Once you have gyno surgery, are your risks of future gyno gone?

Are there specific tissues that respond to estrogen and once they are cut-out you're done with that issue?

unless they remove the gland... you can get it again..
but it shouldent be as easy.. there will be less tissure to respone
..but yes you can get it again....

Make sure you tell the specialist that it hurts and is interfering with your quality of life.
He never asked me if I juiced either but asked me if I smoke weed.
