Gyno Surgery

I just went into my regular doctor and told him that my chest hurts and I got a lump underneath my nipple. He checked it out and said it was probably Gyno. I was like "what's that?" (heh heh, this is where I played dumb). He told me and said to give a couple of weeks to see if it goes away. Well it didn't and I got a referral to a surgeon. He said that I could pick which ever one as long as he was in-network. So I called my insurance and asked for a list of Plastic Surgeons in my area and in network. I found a really good one in my area that's been doing this for 15 years. So I scheduled the date and now I'm just waiting.

I'm surprised that you got a plastic surgeon to do it under your insurance coverage. Don't be surprised if they refuse and make you take it to a general surgeon.

Actually I already got it approved. I had the Plastic Surgeon call and verify that it would be covered. He would have made me pay up front if it wouldn't be covered by the insurance.

Well I got it done and the pain wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had all the gland and tissue cut out and he lipo'd the whole area. Even tho the area is really swollen it's a massive improvement to what I had before. I also had him do the stomach area and the flanks. I've always had that estrogenic fat in that area and was never able to get rid of it completely no matter how much I trained or dieted. I'll post some before and after pics when I get them from the doc. I would definately recommend getting this done to anyone that has gyno. Even if you have to pay for it out of pocket.
