Gyno Surgery post opp questions...

Ok I've just come back from the cosmetic center and it looks like I'm finally going to get this procedure done. They will be using the UAL technique to remove the excess fat and the tiny glands under my nipples.

Now I have a few questions for people who have had this done.

1. I have been told that I'm going to have to wear a supportive vest during the healing process. How bad are these things? Will it be obvious I'm wearing one? They don't sound like much fun.

2. I've also been told that the scars shouldn't be exposed to sun for 6 months, well summer is coming up and the whole point of this surgery is so I can take my shirt off in the summer. Can I fake'n bake or apply sunscreen to the scars or am I kinda fucked?

3. How long does it really take before I can start training?

4. How long should I wait before I hit the sauce again, a few weeks off of training is going to make me a grumpy boy and I'll want to get going fast. btw, the gyno was not from juicing.

Thanks for your help!

I had my consultation today for my gyno surgery...

he told me that it will be 3 weeks before i can train, because any excess movement or elevated blood pressure can cause fluid to go into the space where the lumps were like a blister, forming lumps again or scar tissue.

I'm gonna have a bandage, not a compression vest, for about 3-6 days. I've heard the compression vests are itchy but not too bad.

he didn't say anything about the sun but I've heard scars aren't good in the sun.

Are you gonna be under local or general anestesia? I'm going under local, but they said I won't remember anything after. And they give you a shot of ameral or something when you leave so you can sleep all day.

I'm 6 weeks post UAL gyn surgery.
The vest isn't so bad, but I had to wear it during the winter months. I couldn't imagine wearing it in the summer. Just too hot.
The doc told me not to do any heavy activity for one month, after that I could start light aerobic activity. By week six I could do what ever I wanted. Your better off waiting till this fall since you want to take off your shirt in public. The vest is hard to hide under just a t-shirt.
good luck bro

Listen, i know a guy that started training to early and got exactly what you said, " fluid under his nipples."
He had to go back to the Doc and from here it gets down right sick......
They had to insert tubes into the tissue and leave them there so that the fluid could drain and i dont mean 1 day either. they stayed there for awhile.
This is no joke... wish it were.

I have always wondered what happens if a patient has gyno only on one nip. Is the cost cut in half?

that's a unilatteral case I believe it's called... not uncommon. I would imagine theres some sort of discount lol. my surgery is 3 G's even.. insurance won't cover it either

I had mine done many years ago. The vest was not bad at all, and I was able to wear it under my scrub top without anybody noticing. I started back too early and did develope fluid which I had to drain. After that I took a total of 6 weeks off. Started my next cycle 2 months post op. It is definately nice not having to worry about ever developing it again. My current cycle was started off with 100mg anadrol/day, 500mg os sust/week which was just bumper to 750mg/week, 76mk fina/eod and 6I.U.s of HGH/week. Absolutely no signs of gyno, and this would definately be a cycle that would cause it. As far as the sun goes, I had no problem at all. I did nothing in the way of trying to protect my scars, since they were under my nips, and to this day you would never notice I had anything done. I am a licensed Physicina Assistant, so if you have any post op concerns do not hesitate to shoot me a PM. Good luck with your surgery, and I hope your results are as good as mine were.
