Gyno Surgery and Lipo

Anyone have Gyno surgery and lipo surgery done at the same time, and how painful is it? How long does it take to recover? I hear that I'll be wearing a binder around my chest and my abs for the next 5 weeks or so..

Just had both done on June 16th. The first week is a pain because your stomach is so sore that you basically have to have someone grab your hand and pull you out of bed....you will be given oxycodone for pain and some sleeping pills.....but im now in my third week of recovery and I went to a damn good doc here in GA. The swelling will be a bitch for the first 10 days but after that it wont be so bad. The first 10 days arent so great, but its okay after that. Not only that, but if you have lipo around your abs like I did and my chest, you will need to buy a jock strap to wear while you sleep....for some reason your pecker bruises up for a few days.

oh no! no one said my pecker bruises up! wtf! lol.. I'm getting the same thing done also..but he's only prescribing extra strength percs..wouldn't give me anything stronger, and I already have sleeping pills..tnx for the info!

Ditto to above, I had very little pain but my balls and dick swelled up and I thought they were going to pop, scared the heck out of me.

WTF! I don't want my nuts to explode! lol..hehe.

It's costing about 3k to do my flanks (love handles) and front abs and 5500 for the gyno removal and lipo on the chest. If ins. covers 5500 part, i'll only be out 4k total

when do you plan on lifting again? I imagine you're in some pain

you may have to fight the insurance on the gyno, though if you can get the right "diagnosis", that your insurance will pay for, then that helps a lot. A lot of companies try to pawn that off as cosmetic.

I know. As far as I can tell there's about an 80 percent chance that they will pay for it, but I won't know until charges have been filed. They are billing it as a lifestyle pain issue and 'suspicious' so...i'll keep everyone informed. I'm going in on Weds.

Solid and falcon, did you get ultrasonic lipo or the old fashion version?

how long before you can be back in the gym? and are you coming off a cycle or how long has it been since your last cycle?
