Guys do you really get it when women cry?

Maybe you might call me insensitive but I don't think I am. Now I know women are supposed to be more sensitive and all that but no matter how many women I've been around I still don't get it when they cry over a little something that is upsetting to them. Am I only on this?

I like to see a woman cry (not about stupid or tragic things), it shows vulnerability which is a characteristic I like in a woman. There is aquote that says something like 'The tears of a woman are the strongest waterpower on earth and burn deeper than the strongest acid'.

my ex g/f once would cry all the time. she even cried over a hotdog she dropped on the ground. however she surprised me when she found out her grandmother died she hardly showed any emotion.

probably because she killed her.

When a woman cries I always cave in and comfort them or just do whatever they ask. Its a weakness for me.

mostly (IMHO) its a defence mechanism, used when they need sympathy or cannot respond to a query or threat in any other means, they know that their tears result in men automatically wanting to help so they do it, i;ve rarely seen a women cry for what i feel is a legitamate reason.....just like ive rarely seen a guy cry for a legitamatereason

it is a weakness.....and with some girls who cry at anything i;ve got a bit thicker skinned, but with others if i see then cry i;ll do anything to stop it. which isnt good as thts how fights etc start

my exgirlfriend cried ALL THE TIME.
one month, I kept track of how many times she cried, when it hit 50 i just gave up

I try to comfort as best I can when I see a woman crying unless she's one of those who cry at the drop of the hat. Then I have to cut her loose because I can't be around that. But even when I am comforting a crying woman deep down being the thick headed guy I am I am thinking what the fuck are you crying for?

I can be a pretty stony faced fucker in the presence of a crying woman if I think she's being phony or manipulative.

If it's a sincere sob because of a serious event/incident then yes, I completely "get it"... and I'm a guy! It's called emotions and when the situation is serious enough crying can be the most beautiful thing, yet also the most heartbreaking at the same time.

I've genuinely cried a few times in my life, and each time it was at the passing of a family member.

If its a woman I know and care about, I fall all to pieces for her and do whatever she wants. I cant stand to see them cry, even if its tears of joy.

If I dont know her I couldn't give a fuck less (unless she was just raped).

Having learned that many women turn their tears on and off with the ease of a water faucet, they have absolutely no impact on me unless I know the reason.

I view them the same way I view the tears of a 6 month old.

Legitimate tears are rarely shed in public.

Man, I hate it when women cry for no reason or when they can't handle a "tough" situation. Sometimes I wish that I could just grab a heavy ash tray and smash it over their head.

"What you crying for bitch??!! I'll give you something to cry about!!! *down comes the ash tray*"

That'll teach them

Hehehe me too. They give up trying in the end. Could always try that Terminator line: 'why is there water coming out of your eyes?'.
