...shame, really...four kids...just died from some lung infection.

He was sick for awhile and called to say that he's coming back next week. Next thing I know, the director pulls us together and tells us that Johnny isn't coming back and why. We weren't really friends, but he was a good guy over all.

I have no idea what kind of infection. The director said something medical and he later dumbed it down to lung infection. Was a young guy to...40s...

Sorry bro that sucks. I worked 4 a guy for 8 years and one day he went to the roof to demo a rooftop unit. All circuit breakers were off but he made the mistake of not checking it and cut into an illegally direct wired circuit. I heard an apprentice roofside screaming 4 help and I ran up there to see him laying on the roof with blood coming out his ears. Fried big time. He had 3 kids and a wife, who sued the fuck out of the company. And rightfully so. Dave wasn't even an electrician.

Definitely. While there'd never be a replacement it's time like these to make you buy health insurance, no matter how fucked up your budget is. I know I did since Dave died, you should too.
