you are confusing using non violent means to end conflict with being a pushover. there are other ways to solve problems but (this isn't a personal attack btw) based on your other link you seem to feel violence is a suitable solution to problems. some of us don't, we see it as a last resort.

Daised, my post did not mention and was no critism of the actions currently being taken by various heads of state to try and resolve a huge global problem.
It is, I agree, a very serious and precarious situation.
It is not aided in the slightest, and neither is the education of the general public, when we have drama queens seeking a little glory out of other people's fear. DcupSheepNipples posted his little find on Elite so that he could be ringleader for 5 minutes whilst everyone gets carried along on a wave of terror-induced "genocide-is-cool" campaign.
The attacks on those who harbour/aid terrorists in Afganistan are not Glory Missions. However, some people just don't understand this, or actually manage to scrape some glee from the situation because it allows them to feed their need for attention and have some little ego quest "oh hey guys, look what I found. Aren't I cool, I just found a website...". It appears that now these people are in such a frenzy in their fight for our attention they are not even checking the content of these sites anymore.
It makes me sick.

You said it not me! If people want to be pacifist's, they have a constitutional right to do so, but I disagree with it in this current situation! I wonder why we dont see them over their doing something about it rather than bitching about it. If they want to make a difference why don't they go to Afghanistan and help the people over there! They are such hypocrites. This isn't the Sixties and the Vietnam War. American soil is under attack. All the peace and love will not change the terrorist ways. They will pick us off one by one until we are all dead using your logic! If you want them to kill you then that's your problem. But regardless of what you and others believe. I am grown up, have a college education, several degrees, financially secure and pushing 30 and if I want to post something then I will. Please tell this to the mothers that lost their children in the WTC. And the mothers who are going to lose there American children from tageted civilian attacks by terrorists. Serviceman are prepared to protect us in this just War. It's their job, duty and they are proud to do it. This isnt Vietnam, there is no draft. I support them fully to protect us and kill the enemy! The more terrorist heads on a platter the better! This isnt a joke as many people make it out to be. It's real simple It's either them or us. If people want to stand around and let them pic off your family, they are sick. I believe we must capture and kill them before they take any action to kill us.

Bump for D-Cup --A voice of sanity around here....How come everybody who isn't sure of what we should do suggests maybe doing nothing? I would wager that the evil people who did these things anticipated us doing just that, alot of talky talky but no action. I truly hope that we kill a good number of these people in a cruel and unusual manner. I hope that bin laden is weeping for whatever god he prays to right before the knife makes it's final path... I too have concerns about how this will all play out, but I'm sure that in memory of six thousand people who had the no mercy shown to them I would rather we kill far to many than maybe not enough....
