A friend of mine asked today and I thought of Elite

FWIW, average weight of males of both species are close, but the bears can get to 900 lbs according to one webpage I found.

You know what's weird about this question?My dad said that in the old days they used to have pit matches with various animals as a huge form of entertainment,and thousands would pay to see it,sort of like modern day UFC,except with animals.He said the Grizzley Bear would always kill every single animal paired against it,lions,gorrillas,etc...Horrible cruelty,but made for some interesting conversation.

I know, even back to Shakespeare's day, before the big theatrical event it was like a circus outside the theater, and they had bear baiting and bull baiting. Hence, the English bull dogs.

I knew they had them in colonial times here, but I didn't know so recent.

Went salmon fishing in Alaska, got a LOT closer to a Grizzly than I ever wanted to, and it was a HUGE and intimidating site. Bad gyno though.

The Roman Collosseum was the craziest.

Animals fighting each other.. and not just 1 at a time, but 10's of them.
They once filled it with water, added Crocodiles and had humans vs crocodiles.
Apparently they would also get bulls to fuck female prisoners to death.

Crazy shit.
