I know this belongs on the supp board but there is alot more traffic here so I was thinking maybe someone would know how much green tea would I have to drink for it to benefit me in dieting. I have a bunch of it and if it will work aswell as taking the extract I will use it up

thanks guys

No idea...but I've been drinking 16-32oz ED. About half is fresh brewed and the other half is Arizona brand diet green tea.

JoBu

Well, not really...but I've bee on a low-carb diet and increasing cardio for the past 6 weeks so I don't think I could really distinguish any benefits from everything. But I figure it can't hurt. Studies show that long-term green tea drinkers have a lower BF compared to non-drinkers. Plus I like it...adds some variety to the usual water.

It is fine to drink it, but it wont give you the benefits of the extract unless you drink something ridiculous like 100 cups. A good extract is really potent, high polyphenols, ECGC content, and would taste like crap to drink. Just take the extract for the benefits and drink it if you like.

Where do you buy your green tea extract?....I tried BAC but they don't ship to Europe...is there a similar website that sells raw powders and does ship to Europe?

I put high quality green tea powder in my protein shake daily. I can not ever taste it.

It totally ruins my shake. I have to drink it with lemon juice, same with a-l-carnitine.

I am actualy looking for a high grade extract with 90% polyphenols and 90% EGCG...1fast400 has green tea powder to but a lesser quality than I want...anybody used that one?

90% EGC G would be a really good find... but I doubt you'd come across it just like that (it's have to be like 150% polyphenols, which is, of course, impossible. Give it time, green tea extract is slowly becoming more and more marketable).

I followed Fonz's posts on green tea:

www.beyond-a-century.com - but you have to cap it yourself, I'm too lazy.

So I just ordered 2 bottles from here:
