Grapefruit Juice and Anavar

There have been many posts on studies showing increase in blood levels of oral drugs when taken with grapefruit juice. The problem is the carb calories for those on low-carb diet. Grapefruit SEED extract pills are not useful for this drug-enhancement purpose according to a site that sells them (search on my name and grapefruit seed extract). There was some posting re Whole grapefruit extract pills, but no one had located a source.

Has anyone located a source for whole grapefruit extract pills?
 
Huck just answered my question which is very similar to yours. Goto the post that your question originated from for some additional answers. I am facing the same problem and going to use TKD as a solution for the grapefruit and creatine carbs. Since the Phase 1 enzyme neutrilizing compounds can not be isloated in a suppliment ouside of Grapefruite juice and the need for creatine while using Var. maybe I'll replace the phosphgagen hp (has dextrose carbs) with generic creatine+grapefruit juice.

For my Var / TKD carbup, I mix 8 onces grapefruit juice with 24 grams dextrose and 5-10 grams creatine. This provides a good mix approximatly 50 grams of of HI and LOW GI carbs for pre-workour energy and creatine uptake.

To get the enhanced potency (or is it increased absorptiion), is there a timing issue with this? I mean does the var have to be taken with the juice, or after?

I've read that mixing creating with citrus juice will destroy creatines potentcy. Something about the acid in citrus.

Anyone else heard of this?
