I posted this on George Spellwin's sticky post, but I wanted to make sure more people would read it.
I signed up for the platinum membership last night, and I was upgraded this morning. I feel it's worth every penny of the membership if it means it'll help keep the site running. I can't put a value on the information I've gained in the months I've been here. I finished my first cycle after doing tons of research and asking moderators all the stupid questions you can imagine. Now, I look better than I ever have in my life. The advice I've received from just a few people has been worth the price of the membership. The looks I get from women and the confidence I exude just walking down the street is priceless to me.
For those crying about the membership, remember everything has a cost. As they say in Texas, this is a "bidness." There is no such thing as a free lunch. George still has to pay the bills to keep this site going. When it's no longer feasible to run it, the site will have to be shut down.
At what price is it to you to have access to reputable sources? It's a helluva lot more than the membership to me!
George, maybe moderators should be allowed to give sources only to platinum members. Maybe a little more added incentive to become a member. That alone makes membership more worthwhile to me....and I'm a pretty cheap mofo!
