353. evreyting I have read states that 300 - 1000 falls in the "normal" range. Looks like I'm on the low end of normal. Guess I'll try some tribulus and maybe dhea.

What time of day were you tested? Test levels tend to be higher in the AM.

Many people in the "low normal" range are, in fact, below normal over the course of a day. If that is the case, you may qualify for HRT.

Have your primary doctor refer you to an endocrinologist for a full endocrine workup BEFORE you reach for the trib and dhea.

Good Luck.

Forget about DHEA or tribulus - these are known for increasing levels of estrogen which is probably not what you want. Try taking tongkat ali or running a 30 day PCT with nolva to bring your test levels up.

this is a good idea!

I would try to get your doc to prescribe HCG and Nolvadex. You should not be happy until you're in the upper normal range.

I'm 21 and have taken one cycle. After PCT I felt tired, unmotivated, etc. I came back at 340ish. I'm about to take another round of clomid next week to see if it helps. Also, I was tested early in the morning before doing anything physical. Seems low to me?

I was tested in the morning. Test was total testosterone I guess. Did not have long to talk to the Dr as I was working and I had to ask for the number :-(. I'm not sure she knows what the hell she is doing really. I would have preferd a break down on the number but did not have time to ask for it.

on the bright side my PSA came back at 0.06 so that is good.
Hrt would be good, having an HMO I doubt if I could even get refered to an endocronologist. Hell, I had to fight to get my test levels tested. When I finally conviced them to test the reply was "well, even if your test level is low there is not much we can do about it"....................Time for a new Dr.

Mak, would that not be just a temperary fix?

Nah, just get them to prescribe you nolvadex indefinetly, its awesome. I can't wait till i get health care again so i can stop taking this liquid crap :(. I know there are a lot of guys around here that take nolva ED all the time.

hcg followed by nolva and clomid is not just a temp fix. It can raise your test levels back to the pre-cycle level. If it was low before it will more than likely be low again though...

thats the problem, this is not a post cycle problem. Not unless you count 3 years ago as post cycle.

It depends on the person. I raised my natural test levels significantly with PCT using HCG, Nolva, and clomid. My previous test level was around 350 ng/dl and my last one was at 763 ng/dl and that was 6 months after the PCT.

It should depend on the cause of the low test levels. If its due to a cycle than yes I believe you can recover. But, if its from an excess of SHBG, a problem with the pituitary gland, LH or FSH levels I don't know how running another PCT woul help long term. What were the circumstances when yor first test was taken? My last cycle was 3 years ago, my body should have achieve homostacis by now. I certainly am willing to try this as I do not want to be on HRT for the rest of my life. ANy info you can share will be helpful
