Got any idea's on how to hide nitrous

im rebuilding my suzuki samuri arena truck/mud drag racer. the engine was built good before the accident, but its gettin a whole new body, and custom roll cage.

anyways, i need to be able to hide the nitrous bottle, and the line goin to the intake. im sure i can figure somthin out with the bottle, but im still lookin for idea's on how to run the line into the carb or intake with it being the least noticeable. im looking to add 50 hp. the carb is a weber, and stock intake. the inspection they do before the race is really just a quick 1 over, nothin fancy.

and yeah its cheatin, but a guy there has a 86' toyota truck thats stock, and blows away V-8's left and right. most all these guys now have somthin up there sleave. im just lookin for an edge to keep up. my best so far is a second place finish.

well, on my camaro, we hid the lines to the intake pretty well. We ran then into the intake from underneath, so you could see them at all. The hole into the intake was underneath also. A cop looking for the would have a bitch of a time finding it, even if he was feeling for it.

As for the bottle, i hid mine behind a panel in the spare tire compartment. Depending on where you have room, i head some people hiding a bottle by removing the insides of their glove box. Or just behind your seat if you have a truck.


Make sure you run the line under the rugs, and tuck it behind the interior pannels and shit like that.

Unless you are running a dry shot, it may be hard to hide the fuel line from somebody who knows what they are looking for. But remember lines painted black are harder to see.

I would also reccomend getting a window switch to take care of when the nitrous hits, but you probally already know how you want to do that. I personally don't like buttons under the pedal or shit like that. (a window switch will hit the juice between a specified range of rpms)
