Got A New Car

i guess i'm cowgirl enough according to Manny78's sig.

needed an econo box cause A) can't take much more of gas prices and B) couldn't afford payments on a truck or SUV.

bought a 2003 Civic EX. 1.7L SOHC Vtec, 4 door, sunroof. 19K miles. i was just about to get to the point of NEED a new car, so we really needed to do something.

pissed the stealer off big time when i said "so what's the dealer buy rate on this loan?" he tried to play it off like it was nothing, started getting REAL defensive, and to be honest, i started getting pretty pissed off. i almost knocked his head off his body, but i kept my cool.

we'll take it in the ass for a little while on payments (i have slow/no credit, she has bad credit), but we'll try to refinance with another lender in a few months or so.

i'll take pics tomorrow. Grey with grey and black interior. pretty sweet.

now i must say goodbye to offroading and having the ability to haul stuff with the Rust Bucket, as i need to part with it. we've now got 4 cars sitting out in our lot, and the neighbor's have 3, and there's just no more damn room. plus could use the $$$ from the Beretta and Blazer.

so now i'm cowgirl enough.

proud of you :)
sell the other cars
get back in school
learn the law buddy
offroading will come again in the future

still in school bro. summer session ends next week, 1 week off, then back into a 16 week semester. didn't take time off this summer.

thanks man. :)

gonna play with the stereo this weekend. gotta rip the 400watt system out of the blazer. i hope i don't need to build another sub box in order for this one to fit in the trunk. if i do, oh well, i'll do it.

damn, i'm so happy right now, i think i'm gonna go fuck the tailpipe.

anyone want pics of that?

Well, that car seems to be a little bit more than what you were looking to spend, huh?

we did the math and we're ok. we thought we had less to spend. it's doable though. nice car too.

thanks HumorME, i realized what'll happen if i post those pics here.

congrats on the civic.. it'll last you over 200,000 miles..just change/fill it with oil every 3500 miles.....my 99 that i bought with 2miles on it just turned 119k...only real big mainetance was timing belt/h20 pump, accessory belts..basically a new car again...

You need neons, a 5" pipe, 19" magsswap your block for a H22....lol j/k congrats.

oh man....

i was on the phone with my dad shortly after we reached an agreement. i said "don't worry, i won't 'rice' it." he sounded confused, so i said "you know, like [my little brother] did to his car (91 Civic)."

although the H22 is a candidate in about 5 years...lol

gtr - this is now the 4th honda i've owned. 82 Prelude, 85 Civic Hatchback, her 96 Civic DX coupe, now the sedan. Honda and Chevy are the only 2 makes i've ever owned. i know i'm runnin with a winner here :D

lol, good luck with it. I just downsized my vehicle too- just to a small SUV instead of the big gas guzzling one i had before.
throw some change in there for me. :-)
