It's been just over 6 months since my last g/f killed herself. 3 months ago I honestly believed I would stay single the rest of my life, by choice, of course. Virtually overnight, I started to become interested in seeing women again.
Last night this woman, whom I've know for a while, asked me if I would go out with her this coming Saturday. So, I took a chance and said 'yes'. I find her to be very friendly (towards me, at least
), and do find her attractive.
It's been a long time, to say the least, since I've been out on a date with anyone but my ex. I'm actually a little nervous about this, ( still suffering a few symptoms of PTSD, which may explain it). She knows about my ex killing herself, and doesn't seem bothered by it. Shit, it was only last weekend that I gave away most of my ex's belongings.
It may be early to hit the dating scene again, but I guess I won't know till I try.
Any advice on this people?
As I've said, I have no clue about dating etiquette. Should I just show up myself, or bring a small gift, or something to that effect?
At least I look good.
