good friend nearly died last night

i went out last night some of my rugby mates, and was having a great time. I was at the bar i work at but with my injured shoulder i was just drinking and dancing the night away. Well about ten minutes to last call, while working a chick on the dance floor i see one of my rugby boys start to get into it with these Vietnamese wannabe gansters. Well before it can even turn into a fight he gets a bottle over the head from behind, and takes it on the neck as well. I jumped in right away and grabbed someone and tossed them outside, then in the melay i lost by injured friend. After looking all over inside and outside the bar we left, only to find him five minutes away sitting in a cop car being tended to by an ambulance attendant.
In the end he was about five minutes from bleeding to death and took 31 stiches to his neck. These useless wannabe's are barred for life now and the guy that did it is being hunted for, but i just wish that there were more the rugby lads out that night.
I work as a bouncer and have spent the past 6 months watching these idiots get themselves barred one by one, only to be let back in by management, i personally think that my safety is being put into jeopardy by letting these guys come into the bar. So i went into work tonight, even though i'm off injured and told them to deal with this situation properly or i'll walk.
The best part is that now i get to look out for myself when i'm out on the town, in fact i won't even be going to certain night clubs now.
I just needed to get this off my chest, later bro's.

I get to watch these guys on a nightly basis, it goes from one on one to twenty on one real fast. they all drink corona's and you can tell how serious something is getting cause suddenly they all got a bottle in their hands.
my buddy's going to be ok, but no rugby or work for him for awhile.

And i saw it all, my buddy bumped into him, he shoved him, my buddy shoved him back, then the bottle came out of nowhere from behind him, the fight was'nt even happening yet.

i know, those fuckers ruined a good chance i had to get laid. Probably not the smartest thing to bail on the girl i was working to jump into a fight with 15 guys, and me with a busted ass collar bone.
just so you know the history of these idiots, i saw their buddies break pool cues over someone's head 8 months ago, i've seen them throw bottles at bouncers trying to protect guys, they've stabbed people on the dance floor. Although i think this was the final straw, 3/4 were'nt allowed in before and all of them are barred now, even those one's that were'nt out last night. Guilty by association.

west coast of canada, but close enough. its not really as bad as it sounds, just when it does go off there, its usually a big one. i'll get to chill and watch a rugby game with my buddy tommoro though, maybe even have a few beers after the game or during, so its alright in the end.
i'm tired as well and going to jump in bed now.
