Just got Kid Rock's new cd (as well as the one before). Good cd.


What is Weezer's new stuff like. All I've ever heard by them was that Buddy Holly song. They kinda like Green Day and Blink 182?

The album is overproduced. If you liked the first 2 albums, the last two have been a big disappointment. They changed their sound and a few of the beats sound like Radiohead tracks.

And fro, these guys aren't poppy like Blink. The first 2 albums are great stoner albums.

weezer used to be a very unique and great band (blue album, pinkerton). Straight alternative with great harmonizing. Dork rock as it was coined. Silly songs that rocked and sounded very good. Now they are cheesy pop crap as far as im concerned, and all though i've only heard Dope Nose from the new cd, (which i think is more of the same crap from the green album) i dont think i'll check it out. Get the blue album or pinkerton. blue album for starts and rock away if you havent heard them before. You'll be hooked. As for the new stuff, its real bad. But thats just my opinion, if you like it , no harm.

I agree with almost all of that. I do like a few songs off the new albums like Glorious Days and the radio ones I guess. Some good ones off Pinkerton are Good Life, El Scorcho and Pink Triangle.

Dork rock, I've never heard that but it fits quite well.

I've heard this rumor and I bought one just a few months ago. It was Lateralus by Tool. Bought for the artwork and the transition from Parabol to Parabola. Worth every cent.
