Golf Shoes recommendations

Looking for a pair of non spike shoes..

I like the Sneaker style but hear the old school style last better.

Brand recommendations

nike makes some that look like tennis shoes with soft spikes, i have a pair they work real well.
or u might want to try footjoy, i think they make some of the old style.

Footjoy is what I call old School... I like them I guess and they are the most popular.
I don't golf every weekend to spend big bucks though..

Sneaker Style I hear wear out faster or dry rot if not used..

ive had my nike for about 5 years, they have held up pretty good, starting to crack a bit around the edges, they have been wet a few times. i dont play as much as i used to, going to try and play a little this fall when it cools off a bit.

same price here year round, and that includes the heat stroke.

Yea, usually they lower the fees a bit at the public courses in July, August due to the locals not wanting to sweat to death mostly mid day... Afternoons are crowded as are early mornings.. Jan - May is prime season and its sometimes hard to get a tee time even M-F mornings..

Ive had golf sandels the last 2 years, best thing i ever bought. (IMO shoes really arent going to make one better, so sandels are just perfect on most golf days)

yea in Best Ball tournaments I play in Sandals that have no spikes and I play just as well.

Someone actually called Daly "Quit an Athlete" the other night
during the Bridges thingy..

He had to change up the putting order so he could get in a smoke on one hole.

Actually, I've never played with golf shoes, only sneakers...
So I have no way of knowing if I will play better or not..

Likely will go for the FootJoys, as they are on sale where I have the gift card..
