Going to South Beach, FL

Heading to South Beach to party with some buddies during the last week of July.

What clubs/bars do you recommend?? I love wild parties/wild girls... someone mentioned Amnesia(sp?) has foam parties?

liquid and space kick ass. Youll love south beach, just walking around there is better than going out any where i have been.

Liquid is definitely another one I've heard of. I'll make sure to check it out.

Start off down in Coconut Grove and then hit Space around midnight.

I'm from Miami, so if you're planning on having a good time, S. Beach is definitely the place to go...at least one of them.
Like ICanDrink said, go to Coconut Grove also...that place is also very cool. The atmospheres a little different there compared to S. Beach, but you'll still have a great time. At the Grove, check out Fat Tuesday, Howl @ the Moon, Baja's, and Chili Pepper...its all in the heart of the Grove. Thats where most of the clubs/bars are at...everythings close to each other so you wont have a problem going from one to another. In S. Beach, theres a billion clubs. Im not sure what type of music you're into, so im not sure what to recommend. Try Shadow Lounge, Level, Space...theres just so many.
I believe Amnesia does have foam parties. Ive never been to one myself, but i know people that have gone. Well, hope that kind of helped. Have a great time!

Got it! I'm going to be there for a week from July 25-31.

I wonder how the nightlife there compares to Hollywood (where I live).

So far from what I've been told is to check out Ocean Drive, Washington, and Coconut Grove.

Clubs: Amnesia, Mango's, Liquid, Space, etc.

I go to South Beach all the time, its great. I would go to Opium Gardens, Shadow Lounge, Cro Bar or Godess. Depends what kind of atmosphere your looking for. Its hard to get into these clubs if you dont have girls with you, If its you and a bunch of guys then get there early so you can get in.

Atmosphere? Fine women + lack of clothing

Any club packed with high-energy crowds are great. Music doesn't really matter... trance, house, hiphop, salsa, whatever. I enjoy all types of music as long as its loud and the vibe is right.

Clubs I can't stand are ones with 5-10 people on the dancefloor while everyone sits around and watches. Especially when the ratio of women to men is horrible.

How is the that ratio generally in South Beach?

Ratio is usually fairly even b/c the bouncers are usually very selective in who they let in. you cant really get into any good clubs if you dont have women with you.
