the location i am hoping to get into is located in the most heavily foot trafficked area in town - has a lot of high end boutiques, juice bar, fancy restaurants - sort of the "downtown" of this community.

i wont have any personal products for starters - i'll just be selling all the products we're all using right now in a convenient location...maybe get in touch with omega, pp - and carry a hard copy of needto's book

Sounds prime location prolly bucks for the spot but will be worth it once you settle in for the long run
Since you would love my unsolicited advice, I'm sure:
I would cater to the bariatric community (weight loss surgery patients). There are tons out there! They have to take protein supplements for life as well as a ton of other stuff. It is a huge untapped market for supplements as well as personal training. There are support group meetings where people go to swap protein canisters and stories about who carries the yummiest ones for the best deals. These are formerly obese people and they are very eger to spend thier money. I have a pantry full of stuff to prove it.
AVID consumers of all kinds of stuff you would carry. They trade in their junk food addictions for supplements and keto sticks. My supplement place loves me and I send then tons of referrals from other bariatric patients.

Thats somethign I actually thought about doing here, but, meh. I don't really see much business coming in being we have a few discount stores int he area already and plus for as cheap as they are i can always get stuff cheaper online. I mean if I got a load of advertising and could buy in bulk mass quantitites of popular stuff in order to udnercut competitors big time then OK, but it'd be eyars before I saw any profits I think.

That is one thing to look out for, you can prolly get the people in that dont dedicated half of their income to supps like most builders as they know where to find the dirst cheep stuff online, so the customers prolly wouldnt be long term investors but prolly a lot of random people off the streets looking for simple vits or musscle milk, herb nonsince and fat loss products.
