Going on a cruise

I was wondering how hard it is to get gear on board. I am going to be in the middle of my cycle. Should i take everything before i go? Also advice on bringing back some good stuff?

Been on 2 crusies. Of course, I was just a kid so I was gearless, but I recall that they don't throughly search bags. I think they have dogs sniff them. They would line up all the bags in a row in a big warehouse and walk around with the dogs. Of course, this was all pre 9/11 so no telling now. Are you flying to the port where the boat leaves? I would be more concerned with airport security and the syringes.

well... everything has changed since 9/11. they search ALL bags now. EVERYTHING. I was on a cruise just a few months ago and they took booze (!) from a friend's bag. I'd definitely worry about packing pinz and vials.

Yep, I went on a Mex cruise recently. They went through everything! Tabs in an aspirin bottle for example would prob be fine but pins...I would't even try.

You could always do what i did and put your gear into a sterile saline solution bottle for transport. then when you get home put it back into a new vial. PM me if you want to know more.
