Godfather vs. Godfather II

Which on you think is better? We all know the 3rd. one is crap compared to 1 & 2 but enough about that.

I would say the first one is better although Niro's performance in the second one is larger than life.

I'd say the first was the best because of Brando more than anything....there was just such a mystique about his character. I only saw the end of three, but, I can't see it being as good as the first two.

I love them both. Three broke my heart, and shouldn't be included with the fucking dvd set. Best parts of 3 were Pacino saying "Just when I thought I was out the pull me back in", and when his daughter gets shot on the steps.

No it was the daughter. It was Francis Ford Coppola's real daughter who played the part and also was getting boned by her cousin played by Andy Garcia. She pissed me off the whole movie, and I was so relieved to see her get shot. She looked up at Michael said "Daddy"?, dies, Michael cries, then next scene shows him dying in his lawn chair.
