GLUTE shooting vs. QUAD shooting

Im a dedicated glute shooter and have never shot anywhere else, only because I really have had no reason to. would it make any difference if was to give the quads a try? Im thinking that i should should just stick with the glutes unless i start to build up a lot of scar tissue. Is there anyone out there that prefers the quads for some reason or another?
 
Stay with the glutes, imo. My ass KILLS from TT injections ... fuck, if the glutes are supposed to have less nerves, I dont want to IMAGINE how much this would hurt in the legs.

i prefer them if i have to stick myself cause i can see and reach better. and they arent bad at all unless your using sus or bathtub brew or some other painful as. they're easy. shoulders are also,well...so are bis..i love em now that i finally took the plunge and tried em:p
 
i agree the only reason i can think of why quad injections are better is they are easier to reach.
 
My skin seems to be a little more sensative at top, but once in the quad muscle, I don't really feel anything. I do seem to get a little more blood from the quads, I have a feeling I hit veins more often. Of course, just a passthrough, nothing while asperating.

It's something different if you're ass is getting tired. I would recommend Biceps though, you're arms will thank you for it. :)
 
Quad injections kill me for some reason, I just can't do them. The pain of the injection and then the following days are too harsh for me personally. I shoot everywhere else though, front,side and rear delts, bi's, tri's, glutes, calves, but I just can't do quads .. . go figure.
 
i choose the quads with sust. only because i'd rather have the pain in my leg then in my ass where i sit all day.:D
 
I did my first injection Monday in my my quad with deca and it felt like a mild bruise the next day. About to do one in the other quad as soon as I get off work. :D I like being able to hold the pin while aspirating. When I positioned the pin on my glute, I couldn't reach with my other hand so I felt more confident doing the quad
 
how far should you inject into the bicep? and can you inject a full cc, or should you split it up between both fo them? Ive checked out spotinjections.com already.
 
i used one inch for bis but u can use 5/8 also. one cc will be fine,i did 2cc in mine and they were fine. my workout partner is shooting almost 3cc with no probs.
 
I was doing 3ccs in each bicep, alternating between inner and outer heads. Didn't hurt a bit after the first couple of days. The first couple of days though, it feels a little stretched out. They really grew, and kept some great shape when I stopped injecting too.

Just watch out on the inner head, try to find all those little surface veins before you shoot, they make some nasty looking bruises. :) Makes you look like a junky. :)
 
In my experience, there is more pain and bleeding with the quad injections as compared to the glute. Sometimes quite a bit so.
 
my first cycle of test and eq. i'm shooting test and eq twice a week into glutes (3cc) and eq once a week into quads (2cc). i find that quads are much easier to shoot, no twisting and turning trying to reach, plus you can see exactly what you are doing the whole time. with eq, i've had no pains injecting into my quad at all. i've never tried some of the "painful" juices, so i don't really know how it compares, but if it's one of the non-painful one's, i would recommend shooting quads.
 
quad shots kick ass. just sit down on the john afer you get out of the shower, take your hand from pinkie to thumb streched out, measure up from the knee and down from the hip. that will give you a four or five inch area to shoot. go in at 45 degrees (90 degrees to skin) on the OUTSIDE if the quad. I inch pin, never any pain for me. Everytime i do a glute shot i get a cramp from twisting so much, and delt shots are harder to aspirate.
 
I would love to shot in the quad, but I have scars on my legs from a lownmower accident. I think they are right where I would have to shot. So I am sticking to the glutes.
 
I use to do only glute shots, I tried quads and absolutely loved it. Quads for now on.
 
i am shooting 4 times a week, once in each glute and once in each quad, sometimes i bleed from the glute but i haven't bled yet when doing a quad injection, i have hit a nerve though which doesn't hurt, your leg just twitches, no big deal, both are great though
 
I have the same opinion about quads. I shoot the quads with absolutely no pain and I have never had an incident. Shooting the glutes seems awkward and painful to me. I guess you should stick with what you know. Unless you are doing everyday injections and need to use more muscles then go for it.
 
Its all about rotation. 1cc-2cc in the quads is good when you are on something that requires frequent injections.
Learn to give yourself quad and delt shots and give the glutes a break. 23g 1" and 25g 1" are ideal for this.
