glutamine or amino acids ? all replies wanted !

Hi all.

I need advice. I have read practically everywhere that gltamine & amino's are the building blocks of building muscle, and keeping it during a cutting cycle.

I have never used either one, but want to give it a try. Any truth to this ?

If so, what do you all reccommend ? glutamine or amino's ?

If you drink protein shakes, your already getting aminos, as well as other whole food sources,i.e. meats. But supplementing with aminos will only help you as well. Glutamine is used to prevent catabolism(loss of muscle from sleeping and cardio). I strongly recommend these two supplements.
 
Oral glutamine is pretty much useless
AA ? If you take enough protein it shouldn't be necessary
BCAAs would be a better choice

Agreed. I take BCAAs daily.
