Glutamine and keto

I have heard conflicting reports about glutamine pulling you out of ketosis when cutting. I'm trying to save muscle on a cutting cycle but I don't want to breach ketosis if I can help it. Ketostix have been a poor indicator for me since 4 days on ~10-20g carbs showed no ketosis, and I find that hard to believe. Is there any difinitive answer to the glutamine conundrum or is it different for everyone?
 
Im not sure if it for sure pulls you out of keto, but I know i usually low carb for a week and then add glutamine because if i dont i notied i loosed most of musce (until i carb up), and i stay in keto.
I only take about 2-3 grams, how much do you take? It helps keep my muscles full.
 
I was taking from 4 to 20g, depending on if I remember to take it or not. ;) I was about to incorperate it back into my regimen, but want to try to keep in ketosis (assuming I am in ketosis to begin with).
 
Its funny.. i am cuting now trying to keto, and since i read the post i decided to take only a gram to see what happens. Still, im not taking much, but with 4- 20 im really not sure about what it does to keto. If it keeps muscles fuller and thats what carbs do......?
