What do you think of this dress for a Show Opening.


(no wise ass comments please - I may be the only female that hates to shop for this stuff.)

I don't think I have ever seen a pic of you but if you look half as good in that dress as that chick does you will be knocking them out for sure.

It reminds me of the classic cheesy ass line...... Do you know where that dress would look good? No where? On my bedroom floor!

It's a dark midnight Navy (which means I have no shoes) and those strapy items are killer for outdoor grass/tent parties.

they have some really nice shoes on sale at ninewest right now... you need delicate high heels. probably closed toe would be best for that dress. i think there are some like that there. or try banana republic.
 
They only had it in an extra-small, what the hell kind sizes are ex-small and up for a cocktail dress or gown? What ever happended to numbers?

I believe the dress would be absolutely appropriate for the event that you described. What will the weather be like though? You mentioned it will be outdoor garden-type party.....won't you feel hot and schweaty?

If the weather will be warm, throw caution to the wind and get yourself a nice halter-style with a loooooow plunging back! (Kinda partial to that m'self)

PS -
Where do you get the quotes that are in your sigs? Do you right them yourself? I would very much like to have a copy of them....I mean that seriously. THANX

I was thinking the same thing - I hate being hot n' sweaty when you are supposed to play that oh so glam and just puffed and buffed roll.

Yes, that cheerleader white - nope I don't pull that one off particularly well and what with my pasty looking goth skin - because I NEVER GET TO RELAX OUTDOORS and get some color - just wouldn't fly.

I am not fond of these functions and don't even get me started on weddings. At least I can fake it pretty well and get through it with bells on and a grin. Now I know why my father dragged me to all these type things when my mother refused to go.

Why dark?

How about red or a white.

Cream colors can be good.

I think with your skin color --- what I believe it to be --- you would look great in a soft color.

Velvet, how about a dress that shows some back. There's nothing more sexy than a woman that could show off a defined back. Looks good from the front though. I'm sure you look better than that model!!

Cleaner - I have medium olive toned skin and I'm an absolute ghost right now. Really light colors freak me out but I was debating wearing red or deep wine color. The dress in a chocolate color in person, which is kinda cool too.

Wanna - Backless are really nice, but um they have to be designed a certain way. It's a boob thang. nuff said.

ooooh i didn't know it was chocolate. instead of the silver stuff i showed you, maybe consider going for the same thing in gold.
