Should I buy one? It's only about $14,500

What a beauty.

Would suck to sit on it after few too many beers.

I have a friend who has several guitars hanging on his wall in his den. He can't play a lick, but he loves music, and they are works of art.

What makes Ferrari and Rolls Royce worth $$$$$$$$$$$?

I didn't mean it in a negative way Perk, ...seriously curious.

I'm assuming it's handcrafted by a master guitarsmith (or elves), from the wood of the finest trees deep in the amazon rain forest, and lovingly oiled with the juices of the purest virgins.....

something like that?

Bingo! :)

Also the name Gibson will add something to the prize tag.

Is that what a new one goes for? Or vintage?

I think you'd be just as happy with an L5. Me, I'd be just as happy with an ES-125DC.

VINTAGE COLLECTORS GUITARS.

Not for playing bro.

That's a shame, because nothing grooves like an old guitar. I've had the pleasure of playing a few old blackguard Teles like the one in that eBay auction, and they're like magic. Age does wonderful things to wood.
