GHB more addictive than heroin!!!!!!!

Damn if this is true... hook me up with some SMACK! cuz GHB is a walk in the park.

Once you are hooked on GHB it is more addictive than heroin. It is extremely hard to come off since the withdrawel symptoms are complete hell. Had a friend die because his body was so dependent on GHB that when his source ran out his body couldn't function correctly without GHB.
I agree. Of course some drugs are chemically addicting such as herion, but once you are off it is the mind that continues to be addicted. Trust me my brother was addicted to herion and it isn't like ghb. Now that he has a serious girlfriend who keeps him out of trouble and keeps himself occupied - no dependence.
Some people have more addicting personalities than others. Seems like they are always doing something,, got off nubain addiction and picked up ghb addiction. Most of the time it is because they have too much free time or a job that tollerates such acts such as a stripper. However, eventually the people will have to realize it is not the caps of GHB that are calling them, it is THEM calling the caps of ghb. My advice is to lay of the junk food and pick up a hobbey if you cannot control you vices.

show us some actual proof that lawnsaver is wrong, I am addicted to sex would go nuts with out it, but if I could never have it again and both hands were cut off I could still live, grumpey as hell just like the people that "got use to GHB and did not want to go with out it," but I would still live with out "withdraw" I feel that being mentaly week is not an addiction!

Just curious why there are so many schools of thought on ghb's addictive properties. If GHB is as addictive and horrible as the media portrays it to be and apparently there are a lot of people doing it then why hasn't the government focused their energies on remedies. I know Trinka Prata is one of the more outspoken activist on this topic, but how come there is only a handfull of experts if any in this field. I always hear about someone who knows someone who had bad g withdrawal but the doctors didn't know what to do. If it is becoming more commonplace then whey haven't more doctors become knowledgeable about g detoxification. Could it be because it is not addictive? Lack of funds? Seems like the government is pushing away at curtailing the sales, but what about the other half - rehabilitation of the end user?
Personally I have used G and I have seen my friend go nuts over g withdrawel. But in my opinion he is weak minded and easily addicted. He was addicted to alcohol and beat that, nubain and beat that, g and still fighting and now cyrstal. Some people have no self control.

HOW fonz...well how about never letting your body go past that 4-5 hour period...lets say for a year straight..now what has your body been used to surviving on in what at the time it thinks is a normal enviroment??? the G...now take it away??? kinda like HTP and gear...youll bounce back after a cycle all by yourself but it could take a very long time..

I'm not saying that just an user will get addicted easily to GHB. Mostly it's the guys that are taking GHB every 3 hours. Once their body gets used to it they need it to function correctly. Once you get to this point, withdrawal symptoms are horrible.

fonz I'm not as schooled on stuff as you are and do not pretend to be, however science doesn't always = fact..read freakmonsters post above he hits it right on the head..I have a very srong will but had my own personal nightmare with this substance way before any of the negetive side had been documented..like many others I abbused it, I mean shit you could buy it in a vitiamin store and was a known gh releaser and fat burner..yes I was ignorant and took it to extreems such as every 3-4 hours 24/7..do this yourself fonz for 1 month and you will post a different story..

GHB causes NO physical damage. Unlike alcohol and Heroin.
Sure, if you use it every day you will get withdrawal, but
I can assure you it would not be as bad as alcohol or heroin.
Not by a long-shot.

fonz....sorry bro but you usually have some intelligent comments on almost every matter...BUT....just like others here i have witness the almost destruction of two lives because of the physical addiction of g.....and i took just as much as these two people and didnt get addicted....again....just like juice...not everyone's bodies react the same...some get hooked and some dont....but i know for a fact that these withdrawals were not the simply psychological but very physically dependant....a weening regimen and prescriptions such as phenobarbatal(spelling??) klonapin and ativan was used in my friends cases to get them off ...after a few weeks of hell it did work!

fonz true..however how much reasearch has been done on this..IMO not enough to draw a conclusion..anything that causes some of the severe withdraw symptoms (of which I could list but it would take up to much space) has to do something to you long term...I can't see how it wouldn't..it took me nearly a month to feel close to normal, I quit cold turkey and was fucking out of my head for 2 weeks straight, no I'm not proud of this but this is to provide a testament..and yes I had friends that had no problem with the G and others that where worse than me...withdraw wise... usual dose for those who are curious 1 oz every 2-3 hours except night then would have to wake up after 4 hours and take more to sleep.. just for info guys..this was a long time ago..
