GHB: Are there any anti-prolactates?

goahead

New member
It is said that when you take GHB as sleep aid,
GH levels are elevated, but at same time pro-lactates (kind of estrogenic compound) are released wich are said to counteract a great deal of GH effects....

Now if there was a way to block them lactates GHB would no longer classify as a party chemical for me but become become an essential bb supplement.....

A good friend of mine stacks GHB at night with
L-Arginine and tryptofane to pursue even more GH release

any thoughts guys?

bromocriptine inhibits release of prolactins
the herb vitex agnus castus- aka CHASTEBERRY

Vitex agnus castus (Chasteberry)
There is evidence that aqueous-alcoholic extracts of chasteberry inhibits secretion of prolactin. Hyperprolactinaemia is associated with amenorrhea, therefore, chasteberry can be used to cure amenorrhea if increased levels of prolactin is the cause.

KEY CONSTITUENTS

Volatile oils: 1,8-cineol, limes, alpha-pinenes and beta-pinenes.
Iridoid glycosides: agnoside, aucubin, eurostoside.
Flavonoids: casticin, 3,6,7,4'-tetramethylether of 6-hydroxy-camphor oil.
Alkaloids: viticine.

KEY ACTIONS
They inhibit the action of male androgens (sex hormones), therefore, were used to reduce sexual desire. I WOULD SAY THAT THIS IS A BIG MINUS- THOUGH IT DOES NOT INDICATE THE METHOD OF ACTION

The reason why GHB increases prolactin release is because it inhibits dopamine release. The dopaminergic system has regulatory action on various neurochemicals, prolactin being one of them.

As MACRO has mentioned, bromocryptine is a pharmaceutical dopaminergic and Vitex agnus has been shown to be an herbal dopaminergic. L-Dopa would be another dopamine agonist that would effectively accomplish the same goal.

I guess so.... It would be nice to know if there were any selective prolactines inhibitors....

g + Meth? (Just kidding)
