First, I am attempting to post a chart that shows the flat times in our natural production of GH..........inject during these flat periods and take advantage of the big surge during the first 2 hours of REM sleep.
As for the 5/2 argument, let me say this...... lawnsaver and ironfist are both A#1 intelligent, knowledgeable brothers. There is a parcity of science in the area of GH, especially in the way we use it, so it's natural that there be some differences of opinion on the topic.
The more recent research says that exogenous GH suppresses natural production for a matter of hours only (although Zyg showed me a old study that seemed to suggest days....it was not convincing).
I have never found a study or met anyone who had shut down his pituitary permanently from injecting GH ( I have been a fan of GH for a decade, and my natural production comes right back during the occasional breaks I have taken) Now messing with the thyroid is another story, and we all know what test does to our nuts, so I have no problem with the guys who feel safer taking 2 days a week off. I do this myself sometimes, but not because of the GH.........but to give a rest from the insulin, and sure, your GH will last longer. I don't think it's medically necessary in a normal 12 or 16 week GH cycle. The new med school text, "Basic Endocrinology" states that shut down is a matter of several hours only.
I will say this, lawnsaver.....I recall teasing you about your 2iu cycle. Well, I tried this over the winter for a while and did NOT notice any real difference over my usual 4iu+......hmmm...maybe our bodily defenses neutralize excessive GH in the system, which is why the pituitary isn't damaged by exogenous GH?? Anyway, it's interesting to note that a mere 2iu gets good results......after all, that's still more than double a young guy's natural production.....but I digress, sorry.
