Getting pins in VA

Just wanted to let you all know I walked right into a Rite-Aid and walked out with 10 insulin syringes no problem. The pharmacist was very helpful and it seemed I could have gotten any number of any size pin that I wanted. I did have to sign a "Virginia paraphanalia sales record" though but I didn't need to show ID or anything.

The parmacist did ask me what I needed them for and I said "to measure out some fluid" which was true. However on the paraphanalia sheet since all 20 entries before me said "insulin" I went ahead and put that down.

FTR I needed the syringes for measuring out small quantities of fluids, not for injecting anything.

Just a heads up for all you VA gearheads.

Cool deal..i'm in VA. Don't have the balls to go into a pharmacy and ask though....doesn't really matter since pins are so cheap over the websites. Still good info incase I'm in an emergency, I live right behind a Rite-Aid lol

I never have been questioned about buying pinz. I've used the same local pharmacy several times over the course of 3 years.
18ga. 21ga. 22ga. 25ga. no problem.
the pharmacist did ask if I was shooting glue 1 time. ( 18ga.)
Is it illegal to purchase pinz?

I'm a virginia bro too. I went into two snobby pharmacies that both rudely denied pinz to me. This was before my first cycle. I ended up using getpinz.

In some states its legal to buy pinz over the counter with no scripts. For the unfortunate ones theres always www.getpinz.com

I just order my pins, last time i tried to buy some i wrote down some chicken scratch on the sheet and lady asked what i needed them for. I was like umm, my grandma needs some insulin pins, thing was i was purchasing 23 gauge. Lady took them back and that was the last time.
