getting into sales...

Yo,

Working on getting into an entry level sales job, need a place to get experience that can be used almost universally in sales. Ideas, links, whatever... lay it on me.

You either got it or you don't...you can brush up on skills and obviously learn or what not, but i think sales is just something you're made for.

depends what type of sales you're doing...but there a plenty of good sales books.

-anything by zig zagler is pretty good

-joe girard's how to close every sale

-carl sewell's customers for life


also, watching movies like wall street....glen gary, glen ross, and boiler room give you an idea how to have the sales mentality.

I use to have some stocks, made some money and got the fuck out. It was years ago, one was whoever own Taco Bell, Pepsi, and I think KFC. If I'm not mistaken it was one company that owns all 3. And the other was Target (and maybe Mervins was owned by them too).

if you're not a natural born hustler/entrepeneur, you always need a college education, and then usually grad school to get a decent paying job

Well, I may be going back to school (like Rodney Dangerfield). We'll see. I just hate having to depend on other people to judge me and I don't like to ask for shit. One reason I love bodybuilding, it's all me.
