i actually only have two mares anymore.. both are to old to ride.. the one is 35 y/o and was my stepdad's first horse.. and the other is only 18 or 20.. and would still be ok to ride had she not foundered so much the previous three years...

and i can't put you on mine cuz he ain't quite that fun to ride just yet.. he's an ornery fucker.. but you can ride one of the other three geldings..

LOL. I used to own 3 horses. First I had a VERY greenbroke Leopard appaloosa...who was absolutely beautiful....but being 12....I figured I needed something a bit calmer...even though I could handle that horse very well.

Then I had a beautiful quarter horse mare...that was feisty...and I had another leopard app. who was 13....his favorite thing to do was to start galloping really fast...and then buck a lot. haha. He never did get me off of him.

I miss my horses so much....especially on those beautiful sunday afternoons. But...when you dont' have time to take care of them...they regress really quickly.

LOL. I used to own 3 horses. First I had a VERY greenbroke Leopard appaloosa...who was absolutely beautiful....but being 12....I figured I needed something a bit calmer...even though I could handle that horse very well.

i had an appy once.. that bastard had the stiffest front legs of any horse i'd ever rode.. by the time the ride was over.. my balls were sore as hell... lol.. and the fucker actually bucked me off in the middle of a ride.. actually.. i wouldn't have fallen off if there wasn't a low, big branch right above me when he bucked.. which i hit.. thereby knocking me off.. so really. it wasn't the horse. but the branch..

anyway.. yes.. the do regress quite quickly when you don't have time to handle them or ride them.. i got a week off next week.. i think i'm gonna have to put some time in on mine...

GRRRr.....I'm so jealous. If I am ever up that way...I will let you know and I"ll come by and we can go ride. I would love to go riding all day...horses are wonderful, amazing creatures...

shit.. i was just down in the cumberlands last april or may or so.. i might be heading back down there with them.. who knows..


but yeah.. come on up.. up here i usually take them over to the allegheny mountains... 2 hours away or so..

i can't ride this flat ground for very long without getting bored..
