What should I ask for?

Also about the bood test..im probibaly going to have one done soon too and am curious what to request besides the regulars of what they test for..?

Cholesterol
HDL
LDL
Test
LH
FSH
Estrogen
T3

I'm kinda interested in this too...I have a physical tomorrow and want to ask my doctor if he can take some blood and do some work.

If your doc will order what you want, might as well add;

Prolactin
IGF- just to see what your GH status is
SHBG- this can give you a more accurate look at your Free Test levels, what you really have available.
and a kidney panel with the works- BUN, Creat, BUN/Creat ratio etc.

Yea, I brought that with me. He pointed at a few things and said I can do this and that and blah blah.. but I made sure he did the IGF-1 and test levels. I'll post them when I get them.

If you can get those sepcialty test done great but you should be able to get a lipid panel,[hdl,ldl,trig,dldl]; bmp,[lytes,bun,creat,ca]; Reflex TSH,[tsh w/ t3,t4 if indicated] and depending upon age a PSA & Test as an anual physical, no questions asked.
