Getting Back Into The Swing Of Things

HELLO!
I'M A NEW MEMBER AND NEED SOME HELP TO START WORKING OUT AGAIN. I USED TO BE IN VERY GOOD SHAPE UP UNTIL 2 YEARS AGO. I WAS UNDER 10% BODYFAT AND THIN AND HAD MUSCULAR DEFINITION. I HAVE STOPPED WORKING OUT AND WOULD LIKE TO START UP AGAIN. I AM NOT OVERWEIGHT, I JUST NEED TO TONE UP. I PURCHASED SOME CLEN BUT THEM MAKE ME HUNGRY STILL. I WANTED TO KNOW IF IT WAS SAFE TO TAKE CLEN AND XENEDRINE AT THE SAME TIME? IS THERE A SAFE WAY TO DO IT? I APPRECIATE ANY INFO ANYONE CAN GIVE ME. I AM 5'6" AND 135LBS. PEOPLE STILL ASK ME IF I WORK OUT SINCE I HAVE RETAINED SOME OF MY MUSCLE IN MY ARMS. I DO NOT COMPETE BUT DO LIKE TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE. HOPE TO HEAR FROM SOMEONE SOON. THANKS
 
Quick question - why are you yelling (all caps)?

How long has it been since you worked out? Have you been totally sedentary for 2 years? If you start working out again - you'd probably see great results without any other assistance (neither clen nor xenadrine).

If you don't plan to workout again, you can't possibly get toned anyway with all the assistance in the world.
 
Thank you for the quick response. You have both answered my question. I realize that I probably shouldn't take either one.
I'm not sure on my bf% yet but I wil be finding out shortly. I am sure I will see the results with cardio and working out. I just wanted to try a quick fix since summer is already here and I don't have the look I wanted. Thank you both for your help.:D

I agree that diet is where many fail - but I think it's often for lack of KNOWLEDGE than for lack of self control. How many "salad eaters" & fat-o-phobes do we all know?! They believe the shit the media & trash 'women's magazines' spread. Heck, even in school you don't get the real truth (the "evil food pyramid"?)

No really though, you guys are right - a lot of people are misinformed, unaware, or uneducated about what they should do to "get in shape". But then, even when they do get the necessary information, self-control (lack of!) can ruin them! But there is only so much you can do with genetics....

I'm really getting a handle on the self-control part (eating clean has always been my problem), but those genetics kill me sometimes too.... :mad:
 
Yes. I agree that diet is a huge part of it. Self control is sooooo hard sometimes. I am a vegetarian also and I'm not a big fan of alot of the health food stuff. I don't eat pasta or rice..hardly ever. I really like alot of vegetables..that is my main source of food. That is what I like to eat. I like some soy but no tofu..yuck!!
I know I just need to get my butt in gear and get to the gym 5x week. Thanks for all the input. My main concern is my stomach but I know that the only thing that can help is diet.
I just want to tell everyone that responded that this site rocks!!
I joined the other day but just started reading everything..I love it!!:) :supercool
